Hamas mourns victims of the Zionist massacre in Ramallah
Dec 2, 2003, 17:42

Gaza - The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has mourned in a statement
today the victims of the Zionist occupation's incursion in the West Bank
city of Ramallah yesterday.

The statement, a copy of which was made available to PIC, said that leaders
and officials in the Palestinian Authority and the PLO were celebrating in
Geneva the signing of the capitulatory "Switzerland document" when the
Zionist occupation forces were raiding the twin cities of Ramallah and
El-Bireh.

The occupation forces razed to the ground a five-story building after
besieging two Qassam heroes who refused to surrender and engaged the enemy
forces in a ferocious battle that ended in their martyrdom.

Hamas said that such a heinous crime that led to the martyrdom of the heroes
Saleh Talahme and Sayyed Al-Sheikh Qassem along with others was coupled with
the Zionist desecration of a mosque in Teyra also in Ramallah and other
assassinations of Quds Brigades and Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' activists.

The Movement affirmed that the liquidation of Palestinian resistance leaders
and cadres would not terrorize the resistance factions into abandoning Jihad
march.

Hamas also renewed condemnation of the "Switzerland document" that was
signed in Geneva yesterday, describing it as a new capitulatory bond to be
added to the others signed since the notorious Oslo agreements.

The Movement asked the PA to halt the "farcical" contacts with the Zionist
enemy, which were progressing in the "dark" in Arab and European capitals
with the aim of liquidating the Palestine cause and ending the Palestinian
people's resistance.

Hamas affirmed conviction that the document would meet the same fate of
previous ones that turned into mere ink on paper.
