Hundreds lay to rest Qassam martyr and child Dec 2, 2003, 17:13 Ramallah - Hundreds of Palestinians ventured to the streets of the West Bank city of El-Bireh today despite heavy rains to lay to rest a nine years old boy and the Qassam martyr Sayyed Qassem murdered by Zionist occupation forces. The funeral procession witnessed angry slogans calling for revenge as participants carried Palestinian flags and green banners along with photos of the two martyrs. Grief and mourning prevailed in the West Bank twin cities of Ramallah and El-Bireh today following the Zionist savage incursion yesterday that left four Palestinians at least killed and many others wounded in addition to scores arrested. The occupation forces had assassinated two Qassam Brigades who were entrenched in one of the buildings in El-Bireh while the identity of a third was not known yet in addition to the nine years old boy who was hit with a bullet in the head. The Zionist pre-dawn raid yesterday went for more than 16 hours at the pretext of targeting the infrastructure of Hamas Movement in the city of Ramallah. The campaign further led to the destruction of two residential buildings. http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/
