Zionist arrest campaign did not spare newlyweds Dec 2, 2003, 16:06 Ramallah - Well informed Palestinian sources today noted that the Zionist arrest campaign yesterday in the West Bank cities of Ramallah and El-Bireh did not spare a newlywed couple. The sources pointed out that the occupation troops arrested in El-Bireh the young man Samer Samih Sarsor, 25, and his newly married wife. They were only married last August. Father of the detainee said that occupation soldiers took away his son and his wife from their apartment after midnight Monday. He said that the wife was taken to the Maskobeh detention center in occupied Jerusalem but he did know the whereabouts of his son. Sarsor said that his son's wife was a Bir Zeit University student and was never arrested before. Her arrest was met with surprise on the part of her family. The occupation authorities arrested scores of Hamas activists in the campaign that included a schoolteacher and her husband also in El-Bireh. http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/
