Ranteesi: Switzerland document more dangerous than the Balfour Declaration

Gaza - Dr. Abdul Aziz Ranteesi, one of the prominent Hamas Movement leaders
in the Gaza Strip, has opined that the so-called "Switzerland document" was
more dangerous on the Palestinian people than the Balfour Declaration.

He said in press statements that what they called the "Switzerland document"
was a disaster befalling the Palestinian people if the people remained
silent.

Ranteesi expressed conviction, however, that the Palestinian people would
annul this document similar to previous capitulatory agreements.

The Hamas leader said that his Movement would attend the Cairo dialogue
among various Palestinian factions to evaluate the past political march and
negotiations that entailed a series of mistakes on the Palestine cause and
people.

"We should put an end to the Palestinian Authority's political downslide, we
will go to the dialogue to do so and only thence the dialogue would be
productive," he concluded.
