Something's mounting, but it ain't "evidence".  Hmm! Is odor one of the
things that mounts?

Surviving Iraqis love to embelish things - especially when they get
terrorist asses handed to them. Once they get together, wash their shorts,
and compare notes, the number of nasty things the evil yankee infidels did
to them in a pitched battle gets inflated mightily.

They probably had some input from some of the Iranian "pilgrims" passing
through town, too.
