Why get involved - it was not our war.

Britain and allied Europe should consider themselves lucky we even
entered WW2. My parents told me of the considerable resistance to
entering the war, It took an act of treachery on FDR's part to force
America to accept entrance into the war.

But the really sad thing is that it was a wasted effort. Britain is a
totalitarian dictatorship where everyone hates America.
