  They're bad only if the US and other good nations have them.  It's
kind of like having not only nukes, but an entire military.  These
were "bad" in our hands, but not the Soviets'.  That's "why" we
"should" have disarmed all by ourselves before the Soviets.

  Many lefties are still angry that the wrong side (to them) lost the
Cold War.

  Besides, our "guilt" "compels" us to give blackmail to, if not
merely appease, the rogues.  For after all, we're the "worst rogue of
all" if the lefties are to be believed.
