Ranteesi: Dialogue not to endorse hudna Nov 27, 2003, 12:58 Gaza - Dr. Abdul Aziz Ranteesi, one of the prominent Hamas Movement leaders in the Gaza Strip, has affirmed that the inter-Palestinian dialogue scheduled to open in the Egyptian capital early December would not endorse hudna with the Zionist enemy. Ranteesi, who was delivering the Eidul Fitr Khutba (sermon) on Tuesday before around 10,000 Palestinians in the Sabra suburb in Gaza city, said that the dialogue would study past experiences including Oslo, roadmap and Switzerland document. "We agreed to attend the dialogue on the basis of preserving the Palestinian people's rights and resisting occupation," he clarified, regretting that the USA and "Israel" were the ones to ask the Palestinian Authority to hold such a dialogue for the sake of ending the intifada and resistance. He said that his Movement would attend the dialogue nonetheless to preserve Palestinian rights, opining that all past dialogues had ended up in failure. The Hamas leader affirmed that defeat was the final destiny for the Hebrew state. Ranteesi affirmed conviction that victory was nigh and pointed to Zionist attempts to assassinate numerous Hamas leaders including himself but Allah foiled them. He accused the PA of freezing assets of charitable societies in a bid to wipe out the Palestinian people's steadfastness and to implement the Switzerland document that relinquished Palestinian rights. http://www.palestine-info.co.uk/
