Well, Christ was a Jew both by ethnicity and by religion. Pretty much
all of his Apostles were Jewish both by ethnicity and by religion. The
reason why Christians worship Jerusalem is because Jerusalem was the
capital of the Jewish nation and religion. Thus, it was Jerusalem
where Christ came to preach to his fellow Jews. And that's where he
was arrested by the Romans and then crucified.

Had Jews been living near, say, London, then Jesus would ahve been
born near London, would have come to London to preach and London would
have been the most sacred place for Christians.

Do you see the point?
