All the details are unclear, and we know that many Iraqis welcomed the
invasion and appreciate the progress being made, a separate issue from
the violence that dominates our attention on Iraq currently, but --

if US bodies are desecrated or there are signs of "biting the hands
that feed as well as rescue," I have just told my very-liberal friend
in DC metro,

be prepared for anger directed in general at Iraq, Iraqis, and
pathological people elsewhere in this world, with all the ugliness
that is implied by such feeling.
