To keep people happy the British agreed to terms set forth by the
League of Nations to enforce migration quotas of Jews into Palestine.

Why, if Jews were native Palestinians, did they come from other
countries? It is universally accepted that if your forefathers are
born in a state and you have grown up with them in that same state,
you have no citizenship in the state from which your forefathers
originated.

I have made this point myself and so advocated peace and forgiveness
in Israel. I even suggested that Palestinians should move out into the
Middle East and not waste their lives with terrorism.
