   I couldn't find an answer I liked. They need to be a little 
less vituperative and a little more rational. I don't "hate the 
idea" tho I think it's a little foolish to entrust your life to 
something computerized, especially at the present state of 
technology. I might indeed own one just for gadget's sake. I 
certainly wouldn't hold it against a company for experimenting on 
the possibilities, especially an innovative company like Taurus.

Not sure how you define 'selling out' but I don't see it.

1 This move only helps the gun banning crowd, and I will refuse to 
buy ANY products from any gun company which works on this concept.

2 I hate the idea, would never buy such a gun, and will buy more 
mechanical guns now to "stock up."

3 I can't really vote. I need more information on the technology, 
how it works, and why this is being done.

4 I don't like the idea, but I guess it is inevitable, since some 
states are requiring it..

5 This is a much-needed move to make guns safer
