The usual "reliable but anonymous" sources have told our intrepid reporter
that these were fans of rex, the wonder doggie, and that they didn't trust
government water as it was part of the cliches of totalitarian socialism.

You see, when one is hammered by the cliches of totalitarian socialism, one
quickly forgets anything except taking rex, the wonder dog, out for a "walk"
so s/he/it can relieve him/her/itself of the cliches of totalitarian
socialism as well as that day's excrement.

Even the Army National Guard (a cliche of totalitarian socialism) is
reluctant to try and fill rex, the wonder dog, with cliches of totalitarian
socialism.

Of course, what is needed is a private army national guard - perhaps one of
the "new militias" - that would compete on costs and non-cliches of no
totalitarian socialism - to rescue those injured, bury the dead and bring new
and magnificant cliches of totalitarian socialism from Wal*Mart, the dream of
every mother and father who want their chuldren to grow up and be Bill "The
Software Rex" Gates.

Other than that . . .
