I'm sorry, I was a little vague.  I didn't mean to imply that all of
those religions were somehow better than the others (although I do
happen to subscribe to one of them exclusively).  For these purposes,
I was referring to Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, (albeit our
society is becoming more protective of Islam, prompted by the
anti-Muslim reaction some people had in the wake of 9/11), as the
three religions which people generally target as being "intolerant" or
"judgmental".  Most of that sentiment comes from the acceptance of
what our society refers to as the "Eastern" religions -- meaning to
them those religions that advocate an acceptance of relative truth and
morality claims.  Of course, that's not necessarily true for those
religions, but that's what the popular perception is, and I assume
that there's already a thread lurking on alt.philosophy for a more
detailed analysis of that.
