Yep. They need to pick up the pieces, as they help you clean up.
So they understand the irreversibility of the consequences. And walking
downrange, for the first time, knowing there are guns back at the shooting
line, provides solid reinforcement for the lesson that when there are
guns around, you need to make sure that _everyone_ knows the safety rules.

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that
English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words;
on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat
them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.
