Well you said the NRA had nothing to do with Oswald's mail
order of his gun, and I showed the NRA was the number one
opponent of legislation to restrict interstate mail order
sales of firearms. I also showed Oswald ordered his rifle
through an ad he found in The National Rifleman. Obviously,
if Oswald ordered a S&W handgun through the mail there
weren't any restrictions on that in 1963 - you said it was
illegal since 1956, IIRC.

By preventing legislation that would have restricted
interstate sales of firearms the NRA had a great deal to do
with the booming business in mail order sales of firearms,
including handgun, rifles and shotguns. Even after Kennedy's
assassination, the gunlobby led by the NRA quashed even mild
gun legislation.

Now we see the NRA pushing ccw bills through state
legislatures even after the people vote down ccw, and forcing
blanket immunity for gun manufacturers through Congress so
it'll be written in federal law.

Don't tell us the NRA has nothing to do with dumping guns in
our communities. It's pretty obvious.

You lost that one, Stupor...
