Wrong. Let's look at the facts. 1) A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. Seems the right of the people to keep and bear these arms does exist and is protected. 2) The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
