	Yes, and then what will you do.  Mort, and many others on this newsgroup, have 
been some of the strongest advocates of a large, powerful federal government 
standing army.  The founding fathers warned us about the dangers of that, yet 
most who fancy themselves conservatives love a large, dangerous active military.

	Get rid of them, I say, and do it quick.  America needs a tiny cadre of 
professional trainers and the National Guard and Reserves, and nothing more.
