Don't be too sure. Patriot II will revoke posse comitatus, thereby allowing the government to do just that. Now, if they don't plan to ever do it, why revoke it?
All who do so violate their oaths of office, from the president on
down to the raw enlistee. At that point, they cease to be a legal
government.
How's that? There's no Constitutional restriction on domestic use of
the Military that I can think of offhand.
