I had the chance to operate this gun last week. You have to release the pump
every time you cock it. Every time you cock it, the safety automatically
engages. To fire it, you must: Load BBs, release the cocking lock, cock it,
release the safety, aim and pull the trigger. Sort of reminds me of thge
convolutions anti-gunners want gun owners to go through every time we fire a
gun. However, the final determination as to when this gun is fired and what
it is aimed is the same as for any other gun - the human being in whose
hands it is held. There is no safety feature that can prevent this gun, or
any other gun - no matter how "safe" they try to make it - from being
missused.
