Interesting that you should cut out the meat of the post ?
What's wrong ?
Afraid to have the next person easily find out what it's about ?

But to respond to you..
As I stated in my post

Just talking to a seller of magazines at a gun show.
He is of the opinion that the major gun manufacturers such as Ruger, Glock,
Smith & Wesson will be very actively lobbying to EXTEND the 1994 Assault
Weapon Ban due to expire next year.
The reason ?
They are facing major inventory and production costs if the ban expires
Thnk of all those 10-round mags that nobody will want ?
Think of all the guns that are already packaged with 10-round mags that will
have to be re-packaged with larger capacity magazines to meet the demand ?

It was an OPINION..
Obviously you have a problem with the MEANING of the word..
Or do you have a problem about dicussing an "OPINION" that is not supported
by some cast-iron evidence ?

AS to taking action.
That's easy..
You can contact the public relations offices of the manufacturers and query
the truth of the possibility of their acting agains to extend the AWB ban.
You can make it know to them that such action could prove even more
expensive that any savings they could have from extending the AWB
Similarly you can contact your federal representatives and indicate to them
that respecting the BoR is far more important than the possibles losses the
gun manufacturers can suffer. And theat they also can suffer repercussions
if they act to extend bad laws such as the AWB ban.

Happy ?
