In Britain you have had 50 years of Socialist government dumbing down the
electorate.

And the Conservative Party 'Tories' there (as in Canada and Australia) are
just rather a joke.
The Tories cannot hold a candle to Rt. Hon. Anthony Charles Lynton "Tony"
Blair.
In 1945,  Labour and Prime Minister Clement Attlee  won a landslide against
Churchill and his Conservatives.

What it in the 40's or 50's that the British government started
nationalizing the utilities and railways and many other things?

That is the thanks the British people gave Churchill after delivering them
from the evil of Nazism and the Darkest Days of WW2.

Maybe they should look at what happened to Germany in following and
believing everything the government told them.

Germany is also economically damaged by having the strongest labor unions in
the World.

Hence no one wants to employ workers there and Porsche has big factories in
Finland.

The British people are just too much like sheep and 50% don't even take care
of their teeth.

What does that say about the intellect of a country?
