I find it truly amusing that the supposed liberal types who are always 
screeching about civil liberties are the first to want to jail someone for 
doing something that has no real criminal component ("owning" a gun, 
"owning" or "driving" an SUV) but have nothing but sympathy and want to 
excuse or pardon those that have actually committed acts of violence 
against the US or it's people (the terrorists in Gitmo, the cop killing 
scumbag in PA, any thug who has victimized a conservative).

I think it is time to acknowledge the insanity of this position and place 
these people in protective custody so they cannot hurt themselves or others 
directly or indirectly (by voting).
