recruiting thousands of volunteers for draft board duty. Americans older
than age 18 with clean criminal histories are being asked to "serve your
community and the nation" by helping to determine who should defend the
nation. Just in case."

"There is no current plan to reinstitute the military draft, but the
government is recruiting a lot of volunteers to serve on draft boards. If a
draft were reinstituted, those draft board members would determine who was
able to opt out of service for medical or other reasons."
