Lowering speed limits on the highways, and thus reducing the death
toll, removes an important mode of selection from human evolution.
Large SUVs and trucks, hurtling into one another at high speed,
not only remove the slower, stupider drivers from the evolutionary
pool but often their children and other relatives as well, along
with any bystanders whose reflexes are too slow to get them out of
the way.  Thus, the quality of our genetic pool is maintained and
enhanced -- all part of turning Americans into the Master Race which
they are destined to become en route to conquering the world!
