There was some hope that even one anti-gun liberal would be honest enough
to say something like "I still don't agree with the NRA, but our cause is
not helped by mindlessly prattling Michael Moore's dishonest slanders
against Charleton Heston and the NRA, and we should all apologize to Mr.
Heston."

Granted that this hope was nearly futile, but it was nonetheless a chance
for liberals to put substance to their repeatedly uttered claim to occupy
the high ground.

Of course, there are some liberals who might feel that way; but their only
way of indicating it is stony silence.  The strict internal controls on
the Left prevent any of its members from denouncing a fellow member.

It's still a win for our side, though.  Since liberals did not avail
themselves of the chance when handed to them on a silver platter, we now
have (more) proof that they are lying hypocrites.
