It would mean:
There is one less taxpayer, increasing the taxes you must pay
Family disruption might lead to the children's involvement in crime or at
least not reaching their maximum earning potential later in life, reducing
the taxes they pay, either way increasing the taxes you must pay
The single mother left behind may require social assistance or other state
provided services, increasing the taxes you pay
