A few of us in he UK have been involved with projects to tackle issues of
addiction amongst the homeless. You really need a whole new approach in
taking harm reduction out into the field rather than expecting more stable
users to come an actually seek help from a unit. The problems of
homelessness require a multi-agency approach - welfare advice, housing,
medical care, legal etc etc so it is complex.
