I would much rather my teen smoked pot than drank. But then I would advise my kid that booze, cigarettes coke and methamphetamine should be avoided, and likely XTC as well. If the needed to get buzzed, I would advise them to stick with pot, 'shrooms and the occasional LSD trip if it can be verified before hand what is on the blotter. I suppose this public statement of parenting preferences would get my children taken away, should I have any. Message: Booze is ok. Everything else isn't. EJ
