I don't see that as all.  Legally, I have no problem with the legal definition
of "plant" including "fungi", even though scientifically fungi are actually
a different kingdom (it is kingdom, isn't it?) and genetically closer to
animals than plants.

However, an entitlement and a right are different.  A right is something that
someone else is obligated not to interfere with (requires no action on someone
else), whereas an entitlement is an obligation on someone to provide or
perform a service to someone else.
