Sure they are. They all secretly want to be free, to have a vote,
and be safe in their homes, and be well-off. Sounds American as
all hell to ME! You see, the American Dream is the Universal
Human Dream. 

You just think that our secular culture threatens little remnant
cultures of provincial Europe. Your "culture" compares to the New
Worldwide Secular "Free-of-Culture" Culture, the same way superstition
or backward antihumane religion compares to Science.
