Both of these are extraordinarily hazardous.    IIRC,  the "half-life"
of mountain climbers is about two years, and about one in four
professional  auto racers will be killed or seriously injured.   All
for  entertainment.

       The assumption is that these are not capable of rational
udgements.   But nobody interferes with anyone who freely choses to
engage in hazardous behavior.   See auto racing and mountain
climbing....
