dont give the founders too much credit. i think its valid to assume as
some do that the founders were, like the so-called conservatives
today, all too human.

 a lot of ppl use the excuse, like dean, that theyre worried about
sending the wrong message to the "young people". my answer to them
is... give the "young ppl" all the drug tests and cavity searches they
can handle and leave the adults alone.

all situations(such as stoned airline pilots) can be handled with
common sense by employers or whatever.unemployed drug warriors could
go to work in marijuana cafes cleaning the bongs out.
