And, seeing as the production of part of your diet
doesn't cause them, according to you, 

 "The production of the beef I eat causes no CDs."
 "The production of my beef promotes no CDs.  Period."

then it's perfectly logical and reasonable to assume 
that the production of my cabbages don't either.
