I don't understand all the *.politics terms, but I believe you're hand-waving. Silverware isn't a vector. I *do* understand the 80s worry about AIDS as we lost a potentially good MD (1600 score on the MCATs) and definitely good guy to it in '86. However, I don't recall the S/M/gay "community" being as responsible as you'd portray them. SF bathhouses didn't shut down until people started dropping like flies, and then did so reluctantlly. Regardless, lesbians aren't and never were at serious risk from AIDS, s/m lesbians or not. You don't have the "plumbing" to spread the disease. Maybe some vaginal/oral/vaginal specific virus will come up in the future and y'all can wave your banners on Haight & Ashbury. I sincerely hope it doesn't. >Rat -- swamp
