Lets be frank here, ok?  The gay community didn't help itself, or the
Epidemic would have stopped in short order.  This is one disease one
cannot get from a toilet seat, a kiss, or via airborne infection. 

In the 80s, the basics of the disease were being discovered, though
the vector was already well known. Yet the disease still progressed
in leaps and bounds. And yes..it was that Gay Disease. And one passed
on via homosexual contact..generally casual and multiple party casual
contact. 

And yes..there were a lot of people whom simply figured that  gays
could stop the epidemic simply by stopping buggering each other.  But
Reagan didn't ignore the problem, he indeed did start the wheels
rolling. Perhaps he didn't toss as much money at it as you would have
liked..but look at the stats now..far more money is spent currently on
AIDS research, than is spent on breast cancer research etc etc..other
problems effecting far more of the population than gays and IV drug
users. Diseases that are not self caused.

If the Gay population had been responsible, it would have stopped or
slowed down to nearly a crawl and not spread to the heterosexual
population by bisexual males or IV drug users before the mid 90s.

Now you folks piss and moan that someone should come in and fix the
results of your bad behavior...bad behavior by  which I mean the
extreme failure to practice safe sex. And of course now..you lads have
the fucking strange cult of Bug Chasers..gays whom intentionally seek
out HIV positive sex partners.

If you want to put a halt to the "epidemic" harness your HIV positive
players. You should consider yourself lucky you were not put in long
term quarantine like any other carrier of a fatal infectious disease,
as it is obvious that the Gay community has no interest in arresting
the disease or in responsible behavior.

Not politically correct..tough shit. If you folks want to die..simply
swallow a pistol. Its a hell of a lot cheaper than making society pay
for your long long term treatment.
