HLS Update.

[HLS are getting really worried, they have tried to stop legal protests.

Please read carefully and if you make any protests either by e-mail, letter,
in person or phone call, please make certain it is legal. These evil
bastards will exploit UK law in order to ensure their filthy business
continues. They will fail, but the closure of HLS, although a victory is by
no means the end of the war.

We must ensure that the closure of HLS does not mean that that we have
finished our campaign. They will open again, in another location and perhaps
another country. We must ensure that they are under no illusion that they
will be followed with the same protests wherever they decide to operate
their filthy business.

Above all look after yourself, remember no protest is valid if it originates
from the 'nick']

> A message from CHC regarding the last email about the HLS customer's
injunction...
> ----
> Well it just goes to show how effective the campaigning has been, that HLS
and it's customers have to resort to legal injunctions that attempt to
outlaw protesting altogether. As if that would stop us from exercising our
basic human right! Unfortunately, by order of the high court, we had been
asked to put out the previous message regarding the current injunction for
all our UK subscribers - there is no jurisdiction outside of the UK. It also
applies ONLY to the EMPLOYEES of the specific UK companies named and no one
else.
>
> Dont be worried by it, and do not let it put you off exercising your right
to legal protest.
>
> The judge has said that protestors can continue contacting their
switchboard number and writing to them, so there is no reason for you to
stop doing this. Protesting against the companies is still allowed under the
terms of the injunction.
>
> We believe that the emails put forward by the companies involved are all
spurious and will be promptly deleted. This, we strongly feel, is a denial
of our rights to protest. However, people are going to fight this all the
way through the courts, so we are asking people on this action alert list
that when they email the nominated emails from the list provided in the
previous email, that they copy the message to us at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
>
> Just to make clear, this email list is run by the Close HLS Campaign as a
service for other groups protesting against the animal cruelty at Huntingdon
Life Sciences. We chose our own targets independently of any other group,
though with the purpose of supporting their campaigns. We are an indpendent
entity disjunct from SHAC, SHAC America, SHAC Germany and any other anti-HLS
campaigning group. We will continue to protest against Huntingdon Life
Sciences and any scum who do business with them.

[But don't be too hard, remember the festive season is almost here. Help the
above and ensure every HLS vivisectionist receives a Christmas Card and a
gift wrapped P45.]
