I believe in GOD
agree!
Which god?
In the God that so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, and said that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
In this God.
Well, that's a pretty silly god to believe in. Why would an omniscient, omnibenevolent, god have to create a son, and then have that son killed off just to forgive me for a sin I didn't commit? Why all the games? Why not just forgive? Would you kill your child to forgive me for something I didn't do?
And this god so loved the world that he gave us Hitler, Pol Pot, GW Bush, cancer, the common cold, and so on? To me, that's not a very loving god.
Oh, another thing, lets say that over the years a few billion people have believed in this god. Many of those
billions are dead. You claimed that they would live
forever, but they didn't. Why would you lie about such
a thing?
You'd probably be better off finding a different god to believe in.
Why?...
It was people who killed God's son.
They were supposed to. What kind of religion would you have if they didn't?
We have a choice.
God can change any mind if you allow Him to do so.
If you god is omniscient, then it cannot change its mind... if it has a mind.
Anyway, not what you've narrowed it down to the christian god, you need to prove that that god exists and in the process you have to disprove all the other gods. -- David V. Yosemite Llama Ranch
