Suppose in George Bush's reality God only gave rights to Americans, to justify the human rights breaches being comitted at Guantanamo Bay because we are 'at war' is absurd. Firstly this is NOT a war against the Taliban, and never was, this is the Bush administration's religious war against the muslim world, can a 'war on terror' ever possibly hope to yield any successes? Are all those imprisoned in Cuba terrorists? Probably not a single one. When does this war end? Does mr Bush think that by bombing all these countries(who have plenty of problems to deal with anyway without the bombs) is going to make terrorists vanish? This planet is making a BIG mistake by using as its energy source a substance that destroys the environment and IS FINITE, what are we going to do when this resource runs out? Given that currently around 82% of all the world's invested wealth is invested in the business of ENERGY(ie oil) and there is almost NO serious research into renewable fuels that could power the planet in oil's absence, I think the world is currently blowing an enormous bubble, it's been blowing for nearly a century at some point this bubble will BURST and the world will become a VERY difficult place to live after that, how long do we have left? 40 yrs? 100 yrs? Well it will happen at some point there's only so much the planet can take, just KEEP BLOWING > > Does it make sense to put people in > > a camp without their rights? Isn't it > > basic to our country that rights are > > 'god given'. Does that mean that God > > only gave rights to Americans? >
