Necessary Existence and Existence is not a property

Hi.

I am studying introductory philosophy and from my confused notes I can 
not tell what "Necessary existence" and "existence is not a property" 
is.  I have decent notes, but I can't figure out which one  (of the two 
ideas above) is which.  Can someone help get me back on track.
