Billy:
I responded to this early this morning, but I still don't see
that response posted, so I am trying another.
God has not commanded me to write or not write anything. What
God has done is to give me the means (Intelligence and dexterity) to
write. God specifically gives commands NOT to perpetrate evil. He
has never, in so far as I am aware, given commands not to write or
draw, etc.. God, then, wants me to write.
Therefore, when I write anything, provided I am not engaged in an
evil act (God specifically gives commands NOT to perpetrate evil-and
He defines what I am prescribed from doing), I am doing God's will.
The point is that God does not command me NOT to do what He has given
me the wherewithal to do: As is written in Genesis, God told his new
creation to go forth and multiply, inhabit, and spread out over the
earth--and enjoy it. You can accept that metaphorically if your an
evolutionary type of believer, or as a hard fact if your a Fundamental
type believer--the point is God proscribes man nothing good.
Back to the proscribed things: If I do those, then I am
disobeying God. I can't disobey in any other way. Anything else I do
is a gift from God which He loves for me to accept.
Furthermore, although God is Just and Rightous, He is still a
Merciful God who has no desire to punish or destroy His creation; and
He takes into HIs consideration man's failings, and He provides us
forgiveness for them--if we choose to accept it.
Therefore, your question, if you still have one, is not posed
correctly. Such a dilemma as you posed is not sensical to a believer.
