Why is it that when someone makes a statement you disagree with, you call it a lie?

It doesn't matter if I agree or not, a lie is a lie. If a person makes a statement based on false premises, it's a lie. You've done it several times.


A lie has to be a statement made with the purpose of deception. Look it up in a dictionary if you don't believe me. It would seem that you're not only a liar, you're an ignorant liar at that.
