[Moderator] Flagrant Abuse of Power Note

NOTICE

Since some posters have begun to dominate the newsgroup with
posts about a certain alleged wager, of a repetitive nature, this 
is a note to indicate that certain administrative actions may be
implemented to prevent activity that the moderator judges is
unduly impacting the overall smooth functioning of the newsgroup.

In short, I have let you all 'have at it' for long enough.  Drop
the subject, please.  The multiplicity of threads is posing 
problems for posters who use killfiles; posting activity that
has this effect is considered (by me) to be abusive in nature
and will be dealt with accordingly.  Likewise, repetitive posting
of the same material over and over is abusive in nature and will
also be dealt with.

I thank the posters who have agreed in email to restrain themselves
from continuing this subject.  Those who insist on abusive posting
will be subject to administrative action until they learn to control
their posting behavior.

Thank you for your compliance in this matter.
