To deal with the volume, I decided to cull the non-topical but excellent zingers, or things which did not originate as part of newsgroup exchanges, and to focus on those homegrown quotes which involved more t.o-ish issues (science, evidence, classic anti-evo bogus arguments, biology, IDiocy, ...). My first choice: > ========== > Maybe all biology is done on the web now: > > >> Huh? Do they now quote-mine *recent* books? The youngest quote is only > >> 21 years old! > > > >Bogus argument. There are no recent books to quote. In case of tiebreaker, I'd like to acknowledge the runners-up: > ========== > It always works if you use it only when it works: > > >my definition applies to biological life versus inanimate > >elements. Therefore, a hurricane does not fit the definition of life. > ========== > Has anybody told Hawkin?: > > > Nobody talks about figuring out gravity anymore. > ========== > For the "Out of Left Field" trophy: > > > > Which is analagous to gene flow between isolated populations. > > > > How does your statement prove we come from a rock?
