Thanks, TO

It was about a year ago I discovered this den of iniquity, purely by
accident. Until then I was blissfully unaware that the 18th century
was still alive and well, despite being wrapped up and repackaged
using state-of-the-art obfuscation. 

Over the past 12 months, my 'must read' list has expanded
exponentially, my spare time has diminished in direct proportion, and
my wife thinks I have an odd bent for looking at stuff written by
weirdly-named internet denizens ("DeadDog? Why?").

I've contributed little, but have gained (well, witnessed at least) an
immense amount of knowledge, most of which has admittedly dribbled
back out through my ears, but it's spurred me to read some fascinating
books and web sites. And been the source of many a good night's
discussions down the pub.

In short, it's rejuvenated my brain.
