What interpretation? The Qur'an clearly says that the heavens and the earth were once a single unit and then God separated them. What is there to reinterpret? And the Qur'an clearly says the universe is expanding. What is there to reinterpret? There are other amazing things the Qur'an says about the universe. See here: http://nessia.org/artgen.aspx?id=7 The Qur'an says things about embryology that no human being could know! And these arent just me reinterpreting the text! Western scientists have read the text and agree it could not have come from other than God. See here: http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Science/scientists.html Is this all just coincidence?
