I am having difficulty parsing the above thread. While I would
be interested in exactly what the 'bankers' comment means, I still
don't see him denying the Holocaust *happened*.

Eichmann wasn't an anti-Semite. He was just a drone - which is
maybe even more disturbing than if he was a rabid 'der Sturmer'-
type of Jew hater.

I am somewhat at a loss, however, to understand how anyone
could defend the train of events leading up to the mass murder
of the Jews in Europe as anything *but* caused by Jew-haters.
The whole ideology of Jew as 'foreign' or 'subhuman', as a 'disease'
or 'louse' on the social body... unless you're going to claim that
there were people who liked Jews but saw their extermination as
some kind of horrible painful duty to save Germany? There may have
been a few people like that but they certainly weren't in charge...

Certainly the banks and others profited from the 'Aryanization'
of Jewish firms in Germany and elsewhere, but I don't see them
doing anything but taking advantage of a process that they didn't
start.

Again, while I don't understand what he means (unless he's implying
the Holocaust was caused by people who hated bankers (who were
presumably Jewish)), he's not actually saying anything denying the
Holocaust, or that 6 million Jews died in it, or that about 1 million
Jews died in Auschwitz.

In any event, my original comments were somewhat obviously made at a
point in time, and still apply. RR had not (and has not, to my
knowledge, yet) denied the Jews were subjected to mass murder by
the Nazis. I am curious to know how you concluded therefore I
owe anyone an apology. Since you are obviously well read on this
thread, I again urge you to provide a cite to a post where RR
has done so - defend your thesis, sir. Or are you incapable of
doing so?
