"Brainstorm" had Christopher Walken to experience it via an 
experience-playback machine. he wigs out, experiencing angels 
and light and shit (and a sampling of his entire life -- they
pulled out all the cliches for this one). it compares well with 
the "Soylent Green" sendoff when taken to extremes (there is the 
opportunity for playing back some moments in life at deathtime
while one's life is passing before one -- oo psychedelic).

not any different questions than would be asked of someone who
was assisting St. Kevorkian. knowing 12 people so well that you
would be willing to risk prison for them (as it is with the US
right now, Dr. Death is *locked up* for his efforts!) may be a
tough call to make.

d00d! like, you're totally *missing it*! instead, the camera
person *is* the last to go, and films that too! this leaves
the whole to whoever will be receiving a note or phone call,
find the bodies, and alert the media. preferrably all involved
would have thought long and hard about their decisions, how
they would peacefully resolve their relations, and depart.

that's how Heaven's Gate did it, and they were prepared.
from what I can tell they were responsible and ready.
those who remained behind still had more for which to live.
