there's the real problem: that should be "allowed",
like we should have administrative say over when a
person should and should not end their life. that's
nonconsensual. see the difference?

they shouldn't, that's a soft euthanasia position.
the harder one is where we don't tell people who are
of sound mind that they can't end their lives how and
when they see fit. good death includes choice.
