For those of you who have never seen cable TV, it goes like this: Silly music. Scene 1: Some flat in America. Yank: Quack quack! Another Yank: Quack quack! Canned laughter: Hee-hee! First Yank: Quack! Quack quack! Canned laughter: Hee-hee-hee! Other Yank: Quack! Canned laughter: Ho-ho-ho! One Yank goes out and another one comes in. Yank who just came in: Quack quack! Canned laughter: Hee-hee! Yank: Quack quack! Yank who just came in: Quack! Canned laughter: Ho-ho-ho! Yank who went out comes in. Yank who came back in: Quack! Canned laughter: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Ho-ho! Silly music. All subsequent scenes are identical to Scene 1. Now showing on over a hundred channels. I can't imagine why anyone even thinks of charging me money to watch this tripe. Would Telewest please take note. Ken Johnson
